You know me. =P IC: Character Name: Remus John Lupin Age/Birthdate: March 10th, 1960 (return age early to mid-twenties) Wand: 11", unicorn hair, ash Bloodline: Half-blood Why this character?: Cause I have a soft spot for Lupin What about the Lexicon?: Gives a full blown description of his 'personality' and a very incomplete history, including marriage to Tonks, the birth of his son and of course of his own death. Potential Plotters: Severus Snape, Sirius Black, James Potter, Lily Evans, Peter Pettigrew, Fenrir Greyback, Teddy Lupin, Andromeda Black, Nymphadora Lupin nee Tonks PB: Leonardo DiCaprio! Who is total love and made of win. Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual but only because canon states it. Personality: Remus is a kind, tolerant and terribly understanding man--he is forgiving, good-natured and extremely intelligent. Despite his lycanthrope condition Remus maintains an ability to see the good in others and forgive them their faults or past mistakes, he's not judgmental or biased and is very open to new ideas. Throughout his teaching career Remus could be described as encouraging, gentle, and very supportive---he never sought to put anyone down or make them believe they were less than anyone else. The one flaw in Remus' personality is that he does enjoy being liked and though he has very few friends he manages to keep them and very often lets them get away with things most others wouldn't, this is shown most clearly through his relationship with James, Peter, and Sirius, whom even though he was in a position of authority Remus slacked off and let them continue in their marauding ways. Now? Remus is still that kind, caring man but he is more focused than ever on finding a cure or something similar for the lycanthrope disease. He's still reserved in some ways but cannot be deterred from his purpose. Family: Mother: Marietta Father: John Lupin Siblings: none/unknown Remus doesn't have a very close relationship with his family which is due largely to the fact that he's a werewolf. It was for their safety and his own, that he avoided them and so he did and they just never made the attempt to do otherwise. His father does share some guilt though as to Remus' condition as it was he who pissed off Greyback to begin with and so his child suffered those consequences. Remus' mother was continuously ill throughout his childhood and died around Remus' 20th birthday. At that time he hadn't seen her since he was 17.
